About Us

Jocelyn Koehler, Editor

I have been writing and editing for over a decade. I received my BA in English and History from University of Wisconsin, where I also studied Latin, because the idea of marketable skills hadn't really occurred to me yet. Fortunately, an epiphany led me to study librarianship at UW-Milwaukee, where I later received a Masters Degree.

I worked as a special librarian and a grantwriter at nonprofit organizations for several years, which has given me an insider's view of the nonprofit world and the grantwriting process.

Writing and editing are both skills requiring constant practice and attention, as well as a good pen. My favorite is the Pilot Precise Rolling Ball (Extra Fine). I write with black ink and edit with red.
